Little question about Windows 10 Home Edition

    Hi there. Lately i found out something i didn't know before. Using Windows 10 Home, under Computer management ---> shared folder, if you right click on a share listed in the main window, the option "Stop share" is missing. Same option in Windows 10 Pro edition is there and it works at it should. Anyone knows why? Thank you!

    You can stop sharing by command prompt, on W10 Home I dont know why?

    net share sharename /delete

    Yes i know. I just wondering why that option in the management console is missing.

    Can't find it in my fully patched Windows 7 HP SP1 VM either. I guess Microsoft just decided for us we that don't want or need that option any longer.
