If you really want Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter slp key you can go to any major server manufactor like HP and Dell and find a server model that has it preinstalled. Then contact that manufactor's tech support and lie say you reinstalled Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter but you forgot to backup the slp key and you can't find the COA Key on the server and your boss is going to fire you.
Considering an SLP key is issued to volume manufacturers, they will probably want to verify the serial number of the system (at the least).
It ofcourse depends what media you have. If you have ie manufactured "upgrade" Win7 for eligeable models then it will not have the key embedded. In this case the OEM-NONSLP is supplied Some proper OEM disks have it in unattended.xml, so you are not asked to input it sebus
Well I had in mind Server 2008 R2 Enterprise from HP. Does ayone know if their CDs have the embedded OEM keys and certificates?
Same applies, depends on the media. If it is HP specifically branded then should have it in $OEM$ folder If it is MS media to be supplied with a PC mkind of thing than no (as it would have a sticker) sebus
if it comes preinstalled then the SLP keys will be on the DVD. Alternately if it comes preinstalled just fire up the server and grab the key before wiping it and reinstalling Windows.
I'd check out Win7vista for that - They have short term VIP memberships and what you need is probably in there.
