I have a question about windows 7 installation from localized media (eg Greek for me) and UEFI.
When I make the installation with UEFI option (gpt disk) and finishes when the windows 7 starting the splash screen (STARTING WINDOWS) is never translated. When I do the installation on without UEFI (mbr disk) the splash screen is translated.
    Why is that?

I mean I get this 200901111505_01_full.jpg while it should have been translated like this: 290820122356.jpg

I do not know that. The board should contain a localized string? My board is an ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe

No idea. My comment was to suggest a possible reason for your situation and offer you at least some support for that suggestion.

If you want to know more about your main board, you need to contact ASUS and get their take. What you're asking may be in the ASUS user manual or it may be in the specifications for UEFI in general. Or there could be some other cause for what's happening. But at this point it seems you may be needing to do a little research on your own.
