I have a friend who needs help bypassing the password in Windows. Her family has a dell desktop used for the family business and her step father (who knew the password) passed away unexpectantly. He was the person using the computer and the only person that knew the password. Now they can no longer access windows to get to their business software or much needed business files and customer/tax info. I thought making a new username would solve the issue, but I was told that they are stuck at the windows login screen. Is there a way for them to safely recover the password?
