Hey guys! I am trying to upgrade my Laptops WLAN card, but of course the BIOS has a whitelist ;( It is an HP ENVY 17-j029nr I was told that the bios was not moddable, so I was wondering if there is a way to get a list of all accepted wireless cards? I currently have this: -PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0887 (Intel Wireless N 2230) I couldn't get phoenixtools to work (keeps saying "Not Phoenix/Dell/Insyde/EFI BIOS) THe bios folder has 2 *.fd files in it, both return with the same error. I was hoping to get the list without having to deal with HP support! BIOS: Insyde F.43 SMBIOS Version 2.7 UEFI Thanks, Labarr
