A co-worker asked me to fix his laptop. He has crypto virus so going to wipe whole this out. He got it from a friend so doesn't have disc or anything. It has a Window 8 sticker without key on it so we know came with Windows 8. Person he got it from installing Windows 7 which we are wiping out. Looks like the SLIC is loaded in BIO so how can I get the OEM DM key to reinstall Windows 8? He called Asus and they are no help say will sell him Windows 8 on new 180gb HD for $350.
