    It is OEM key mate. The above links doesn't work unless you play around with the ISO with the help of specialists in here @ MDL.

    I read that link ""convert-xp-home-retail-to oem'' and for me is to hard do something like that. i don't have the skill to do all that. any other advise. but my question still here is ''what kind of windows xp home service pack 3'' they have here in the repository. that is where i have this download.

    what you doing here is great job. thankyou all. I read ''How to convert xp home to retail'' and for me is too much. i can;t. Then going up and down in google, i find a blog that mention a tool from microsoft ''update your windows product key'' i download that tool, i put my 25 numbers key, and my windows now say OEM and the set of keys that say activation in few days, is no more here. if am wrong please forgive me. I check in ''system'' where say ''registered to'' and again now say OEM. but no more asking for activation. ''you have 25 days left for...all gone.

    I am glad you got it sorted out but if you really want to work with ISO files

    You need to start with notepad and paste
    Code:
    [Pid]
    ExtraData=786F687170637175716954806365EF
    Pid=76477OEM
    then save file as SETUPP.INI
    then open the ISO file in UltraISO for example and copy the SETUPP.INI to i386 folder it will replace original then burn you cd it will then be OEM :rolleyes:

    Download Retail version (check Page 1), then convert it to OEM.

    Could you share how it can be done? It's interesting for me. Or maybe you can give a link where this info is available?
