Looking to buy a new laptop

    Of course all the laptops now come with Windows 8, which I am not interested in. What is the easiest laptop to downgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 7?

    ive rebranded PCID with Hp DMI tool DMIFIT the G6 envy line.. now says Original OS: Windows 7

    also HP 2000-xxxxx models i changed pcid today!

    I know that I can find laptops with Windows 7 still on it but I will probably buy from Best Buy since I can get with 18 months no financing and they have no Windows 7 laptops. Hence why I was asking which laptop is the easiest to downgrade and not "where can I find a Windows 7 laptop".:rolleyes:

    Why not get one with win8, and just get one of those softwares that make it look like win7 if you need the desktop like interface?

    Are you kidding me? go to the best buy website and use their filters. You'll find few hundreds to choose from.

    if not much for gaming here's one, Asus B53S-SO152
    i've bought it lately for my wife and she's happy about it.
    good thing was, at least for me, this model has no OS preinstalled so you're free to choose one you like.
    i installed win7 pro 64bit.

    Maybe in Europe (Polska) but not here in US of A. They tell us what we must like, no other way around :D

    I was looking in the store and not the website. I guess that I could order it online but would prefer to pick it up in the store.
