Why do you listen to randoms when you have all the resources right here at MDL? Obviously microsoft would like to have their way - it is known since the get-go. And while the Release build has been more forgiving in the bypass department, that has not been the case with Dev for more than 3 months already. The new Beta build (or should I say, the first real 11 Beta build) is exactly the same as the Dev build atm, having the same aggressive blocking in place. So you have to put a bit extra work into bypassing it now for updates via WU. Or just use some script that does it dynamically for you.
OR ...... If the worst comes to the worst and they reayl screw things down ...... life gets fun again .......... = Finding ways to f**k it , circumvent it , hack it , make it think its on an aproved computer ...... Viva la revolution !!!
You have to boot into recovery and open that app from cmd. 1st field is for install.wim path of any build you want to install. 2nd field is for selecting EFI partition 3rd field is for partition where you want to install Windows. Few notes for starters: Make sure the volume or partition where you want to install is formatted beforehand. Use diskpart from recovery cmd before running winntsetup_x64.exe The drivers and tweaks folders also need to be ready beforehand. Do this before booting into recovery. Create Driver_Integration folder in D: first. The command to run from working windows with all installed drivers is below: Code: DISM.exe /Online /Export-Driver /Destination:d:\Driver_Integration Having some stupid tweak can ruin setup so don't overload with tweaks.
Thanks, appreciated. One question, is there any other way to use this without having to boot into recovery?
You cannot format C: without booting into recovery. You can use Strelec’s WinPe boot disk as it has WinNTSetup built in.
Yet the os runs fine on unsupported hardware. They are just working with other companies who want you to buy their hardware.
