    HI.
    strange problem:
win7 on one hd (activated by daz loader). win10 on other hd. dualboot operation.
every time when upgrading win 10, win7 is loosing daz loder activation and i'm getting false validation note.

    HOW COME?!

    Windows 10 updates the bootloader.

On a related note, it won't clobber Linux Bootloaders.

You've likely got them setup so that although they're on separate drives they actually share a boot partition.

Boot to Windows 7, open up msconfig.exe and set Windows 7 as the default OS. You can then reinstall the loader and reboot.

Any time the OS does a big update e.g. 10166 to 10240 then it updates the boot sector. You then need to repeat the above.

Any good reason to keep Windows 7 installed anyway?
