    Hi there,

I'm wondering a couple of things about Windows 10 LTSB... I know some of these questions have probably been answered to some degree before... however I'm overwhelmed by the sheer amount of pages in various threads and some of the stuff is too specific.

    So, let's get to it:

If one is using Enterprise LTSB, is it possible to download a feature update manually? o_O

I know it's possible to install all the apps on LTSB, but how does one install only a select few versus copying the entire thing? An example of how to do this would be great. :worthy:

Would these apps be updated regularly through windows update like they are in a standard enterprise?

Is there a possibility that this would break with future updates/ no longer be possible? (I presume yes.) o_O

Pardon my green horn ways. Feel free to berate and or lock this topic if you cite sources to my questions, thanks so much! :31:

Sounds like it would be better for your needs to use home or pro and remove a few apps than to take LTSB and turn it into home or pro.

Don't use Enterprise LTSB, its bugged, VAC, iTunes and couple other applications don't work. I had to downgrade to pro to play CS:GO.

iTunes works fine with Enterprise LTSB here, and I imagine the others will too, no difference in support to Pro in anything I've tried, everything works perfectly

    Probably your install is bugged

The only bug of LTSB I know off is that it boots into Windows. :D

I'm using LTSB N Enterprise, installed iTunes with success but it is unable to detect my iphone. My computer did not showed up the drive where stored the picture.

Check in device manager but showed exclamation mark.

Tried to reinstall the driver as other website suggest but failed as well.

Anyone found the solution to fixed in LTSB N Enterprise。

    Thanks。

N is your problem not LTSB. Just download the media feature pack for it

No you can't, it's not available yet, and it certainly wouldn't published to WU like consumer editions
if they released new iso, you may use it for upgrade

no it's not possible, LTSB doesn't have Store app

if you able to get them installed properly, they will be updateable

Store Apps are separate from updates or system components

    Yes, it may.

Upgrading a PRO/Ent to LTSB is another way. The store and the store pps will be retained for the users created before the upgrade.

    (Edge will be removed)

in my recent research, I presume LTSB is more of an embedded version of windows and should not be used as mainstream OS. I wanted a more leaner system but since I'm into Graphics and need photoshop and other software to be used I was skeptical on using it.

another prob was LTSB did not recieve TH2 update either.

Can you confirm if LTSB works absolutely fine as a regular OS ?

LTSB is like Windows 7 SP1 now, you will get security patches only (maybe some upgrades in the future, if needed for compatibility reasons). Still on Windows 7 everything just runs fine, why shouldn't it with 10 LTSB?

LTSB is perfect as a rock-solid no-frills mainstream OS. And, by the way, latest Photoshop is running quite fine at my end.
