Can anyone tell me why 20h2/21h1 would have a much nicer looking image quality than 1809 on the exact same hardware and drivers? By that I mean very crisp and sharp (more noticeable in games than desktop) like going from DVD to Blu-ray like quality. Is there an actual upgrade in there or just a better default setting I don't know about? It's just a standard 1920x1080 non-scaled setup configured exactly the same as always. I ask, because I'd sure like to make LTSC 1809 look like 21H1!
yes I agree with you, I am LTSC 2019 user since its launch but since yesterday I am using the W10 education version 20h2 and I am very happy with the result it is very fast it is clear that I needed to make several modifications several in / registry other in services .msc, task scheduler etc. But what I loved most was when I installed the new icons of the Sun Valley version is wonderful goodbye icons of the Windows 95 era ...
Do you notice a much nicer, sharper image too? It's really noticeable to me. I'm curious as to what changed. At first I told myself it was just placebo, but went back and forth between them and the newer versions are much more...vivid? LTSC 1809 looks very grainy/noisy to me now. I greatly prefer LTSC 1809 overall, but man that crisp IQ is hard to do without, kind of like getting a 144 Hz monitor then going back to a 60 Hz.. Yeah, I've debloated it (21h1) a lot so it is not too bad...but if I could make LTSC look like 21H1, I'd be a really happy camper. If not, I guess I'll have to wait until the next LTSC version.
