Hi, I bought a new Dell Latitude 3510 laptop that came with ubuntu. I use LTSC 2019 on my desktop and my other laptop as MBR. Since there was no way to install windows as MBR, I had to install it as GPT on the new one. However, ubuntu can detect wifi and sound as it should but when I install LTSC it cannot find wifi and speakers. I tried downloading ISO via media creation tool and that windows 10 pro could detect wifi. What am I doing wrong? I really want to use LTSC. Am I missing some options in the UEFI?
I am sorry but this has nothing to do with my issue. I am asking that why LTSC cannot detect wifi while ubuntu and windows 10 pro can detect it on this specific laptop. LTSC can detect wifi on my old laptop and desktop pc.
Try his driver link and install the correct wifi driver*, the latest win 10 pro (19042.xxx) probably is more uptodate then the old not improved LTSC (17763.xxxx). *check device manager to see what is currently installed.
I will download the drivers eventually of course if it persists on not to detect them, I just wanted to know that is there anything else I can do.
Well I just pluged LAN cable and it installed every single driver without any issues. As I have stated before, I just wanted to know that if I'm doing something wrong. It seems LTSC cannot recognise new wifi adapters maybe?
