But you won't have transparency effects or this kind of stuff...Cannot give enough video memory to VM for do this.
You can do it on VirtualBox without much issue. It's obviously not going to run as well as on Apple hardware but everything you care about will mostly work. It's been awhile since I had a reason to do this but most of the major issues I ran into (I think something with sound) have useful guides out in google land. Good way to kick the tires with OSX if you're thinking of switching.
