macOS Big Sur, and transition to ARM

    Hackintosh will eventually be down the drain. Probably a welcome side effect to them.

    My greatest concern is, that it will become a lot more difficult to write and distribute software to this platform
     
  3. I would agree with that statement, because ARM isn't as well-known as Intel. I suppose porting existing software/apps to it would be easy but I could be wrong. Although for now, the new release still supports Intel but I think from 2021 onwards it would be ARM only.

    Also, I completely forgot about Hackintoshes but I still remembered that Apple did not tolerate these at all. Maybe their big move was in response to them as well?
