MacOS "Big Sur" now starting to run on 2009 Macs, thanks to "micropatcher"

    IMO, better to do a vanilla install using OpenCore. That way you are in exact control of what is being changed.

    That is the size iso of this new OS Take care of the partition size if you whish to install it in a VM (should be around 100GB) as there's already an update to version 11.1 which is around 12GB availaible on Mac Store :)

    I am downloading on GIGABIT ISP.. :) 12GB is huge.. It should work work virtual box, if I convert it.. then go to my VM nas server!!

    Finally converted BigSur 11.1 to iso file, around 16GB and this is exactly the same size as 11.0.1

    Mac OS BigSur 11.2 available. Can't get the dmg file to convert to iso for VMware at the moment.

    Do not know how do You get 16 GB of ISO every time.

    I made for myself hybrid ISO, about 12-13 GB (11.1 and 11.2).

    And there is no purpose for SVF patch, SVF is just too big. Well, at least for 11.1 and 11.2.

    New Update 11.2.1 Just Now.
    Lets See if Update from 11.1 to 11.2 Error is resolved or not.
    Else Clonezilla is the Best to restore the backup image again to last working state.
