If you run a bloated monster like a recent macos, inside vmware nested inside Hyper-V it's obviously slow. Just disable Hyper-V when you need to use VMware full steam
No, I wasn’t running macOS on VMware nested inside Hyper-V. I would run older versions of macOS as VMware guests inside Windows. Trouble is, recent versions of macOS need more GPU memory when running within VMware. The VMware software only allows 128MB for graphics! Seeing as Hyper-V is a type 1 hypervisor, I think it may do better with macOS. But we need the virtualisation software to get access to more of the GPU.
