making a quick launch menu is as easy as adding a folder to the taskbar

    I never played around with this but if you unlock the taskbar and add a folder to the taskbar, then right click on it and turn off show text and show title it turns into a quick launch menu small or big icons.

    You can actually do something similar with Vista.....just right-click the taskbar, click Toolbars, New Toolbar, and then select any folder to add it to the taskbar.

    I have a 'toolbar' for my download directory to make it easy to access new downloads and install them.

    the whole taskbar acts as a quick launch bar. Winkey+icon# works for taskbar icons like it did for QL ones on Vista.
