I am working with returned motherboards. Often I see such a bug - the time before MB start is very long and BIOS shows in info: MEI - N/A instead of version. The problem is whether it is software bug or hardware. If hardware, then MB should be sent to the supplier, if software - we can manage it. The strange is that MB can load Windows 7 64 bit normally, bur Intel Management engine interface cannot be installed. I took the BIOS chip from a good MB and inserted to the same problem one - the bug was the still same, nothing changed. Can anybody explain the nature of the problem?
