where in the hell would i get a marvell 88se91xx bios chip? update it? really does any one kow the source.
writing? what? mac address? i turn on the computer, i get a marvell boot up screen, says push control-m to enter it, but it passes in like 1 second, i push f1, and there is nothing here that ever changes. ive updated my marvell using all the things from evga. from what i read, there is a marvell chip that controls the IDE on the evga ftw3. My ide doesnt work. From what i've seen someone, they showed their marvell boot up control-m menu, switch from showing a device ID change on it, when they boot up windows, depending on the motherboard bios setting. if its in IDE, AHCI or Raid. his showed in ahci it showed a 9123 adapter. mine is supposed to be an 9128 according to evga. he showed a screen this guy with screenshots, of the device id in marvell boot showing 9128. he showed his boot marvell bios screen showing IDE mode and ahci or at least he said booting from the motherboard in bios in IDE mode, the screen he showed changed the 9123 DEvice ID to a different one. My marvell boot bios screen, never changes anything My comptuer i installed it, after flashing the stock 83 series ftw3 bios, i booted up in raid, formatted my ssd C:/ drive, installed windows 7 x64, installed intel chipset drivers. and marvell. so many weird things happening but when ive told people they ignored me. but im just taking it from this point. anywya. raid mode, i dont think trim is workign on my ssd's. thats just bios raid on. no raid setup. i switch to ahci, boot up. no trim on any ssds working. my ide doesnt work. i dont or havent used the marvell sata ports, yet. im using intel chipset sata ports. ok get this, i change bios and its supposed to not boot, right into ide from ahci, boot up, and boom im in windows. ? heres the big problem, my only dvd burner working is either many ide's or this one i just bought, warranty just ended and the sata connection on it chipped. so the cable doesnt hold well. so it all the time errors and barely works and just stops reading. im sitting here with over a terbyte of stuff on 2 regular hardrives, and cant get my comptuer to work for nothing. maybe doing an os install on a regular non-trim hdd would do better, but i wont be using my ssd's and i need to back up my data. and my dvd burner wont even work. AHH. and nothing works. my computer run slow, it runs, hot too, for some odd reason. dont know if this's normal or not. the NB temps on this thing goes from like 35, then will jumpp up to most of the time, 60. ive heard these, 60 temps are normal. my 55xx processor with power saving turned off, using nh-d14 heatsink, stock speeds, runs 36C at idle. no theres no hogging programs using any computer resources. double-check, no there pretty uch all idle. 37C at idle. now this heatsink does keep down any other temps. like full load to a normal setting. also i turn off and on vdroop. i manually or not set my vcore and it runs with me setting it at 1.22 at 1.245 with under load goign to 1.25. that with me manually setting vcore. the other day i turned off setting the vcore. it i checked with eleet software was showing 1.35 vcore. stock speeds, and temps where jetting up to around 45 thats why i checked. with or without vdroop, i dont really know. i think with out it, in bios, that when i manually set the voltage at 1.22 vc it will set it to 1.248 then switch under load down to 1.23. thats about all i know. what this program tells me vcore is at i dont know if to believe. this or the bios? i could lower what i put but what worng here? what if it decides, oh look he set it to thsi lets drop, it drops my comptuer boom crashes? ????? what setting works on mycomputer?
