I have 2 hard disks and had some problems with the Master boot record. I repaired the first disk, installed vista, everything works fine. Then i connected the second hard disk to the pc and now the pc trys to boot from that HD. It shows the boot menu with 2 vista entrys but both dont work. So i removed these entrys with the Bcedit comand but now i get another error which says: windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause... file: \boot\BCD

how can i let the PC boot from the first hard disk? Or how can i remove all entrys from vista on the other HD so the pc cant boot from that disk?

    I realy appreciate your help.

Change the Boot Order in BIOS.
