Can someone help me ?
bump as i am in a similar situation
Try one of these and let us know if either one works for your service tag.
You need to post your service tag
i need one also for my d830. service tag is FPCCNG1-595b
Here you go...give one these a try and provide feedback.

How do I unlock the windows xp screen bought this laptop online and somehow it got locked service tag 3y81yf1 can anyone help thanks
The service tag has nothing to do with a Windows password lock. If the seller provided you with the Windows XP reinstallation CD, then I'd do that and forget about using someone else's Windows installation. Otherwise if you have access to another Dell Windows XP CD, use that to reload...they're all the same.
But to answer your question, you'll need to skip the resume from hibernation...try pressing F8 before the Windows splash screen starts.
I have à DELL D830 with servicetag FV2VMG1
Thanks in advance guys !
what i usually do for bios passwords is goto ebay and search for bios password removal. it does cost like up to $30.00 bucks but if you're beating your head against the wall it's well worth it.
they actually email you and ask for some info. they will tell you if there is a password or if you have to use jumpers on the board. good luck
Try this it's a weird one: I'll put it in caps to read it easier: 3CDLP1BK OR 3cdlp1bk if using caps doesn't work. hope it helps let me know
