    To remove this ugly Bing search engine from Explorer8 and windows 7??

    If its the bing toolbar just uninstall the program from control panel! :) or change your home page to google :)

    Just go to the bing window and click on the little arrow (on the right) to get the menu . There you can choose with searchengine you want!

    Thanks for reply m8s,anyway,no joy,tried everything suggested......after restart always there that damn $MS crap......thanks again.

    If you're referring to the search box in the upper right of Internet Explorer, try applying this registry entry:

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\InfoDelivery\Restrictions]
    "NoSearchBox"=dword:00000001

    Only do this if you are comfortable using regedit, and ALWAYS back up your registry before making any changes.

    Change the value back to zero to restore the search box.
