Maximum DDR1,DDR2 RAM a Pentium 4 computer supports??

    Need to upgrade an Old PC having Pentium 4 processor, 256MB RAM, 120GB(80+40GB) Hard disk
    i want to upgrade the RAM
    Somebody tell me how much RAM is Compitable with P4 processors 2.60GHz

    your motherboard manual will tell you how much it can support. We would really need the motherboard make/model to offer any info.

    For DDR1 actually 2-4GB, DDR2 can until 8GB for intel pentium 4.
    You can look your chipset's motherboard or you can read from manual book your motherboard/cpu.
