Hi! I've got an idea! Lets create a MDL FTP server where only users with more than 10 posts and 10 thanks can enter...&I can host the FTP on a 500GB HDD :D...if you want! There we can post windows leaks, software leaks, loaders...only available to us! If you would like to then answer here or sent me a PM with ideas!
PS: i will try to create a MDL FTP client in VS2010, so our FTP cannot be accesed in Filezilla or another FTP client :)

    What do you think?

mmm is it really necessary ? I like the idea of mdl being a "legal research laboratory on windows products" and not a "warez server" lol I wouldn't want the FBl to take my precious mdl away :rip:

but i'm sure we would enjoy a secure storing place with a discreet association to mdl.

do you have bulletproof hosting on the moon ? ^^

but anyway i'm no admin here lol

    great idea,

and accessing directly with windows explorer, one year later i've manged to access to my ftp site(pw protected) directly from win explorer, easy for uploading and sharing.

Moreover, not sharing with BA, we can create a new FTP, where, let me say only MDL members can access and upload.

It can be good for a lot of software that we have.....

    quoted 100%

I think we should be able to use clients like FileZilla and yeah it would be great to have an MDL FTP.

upload rights for all mdl members really ? XD that would be catastrophic. I can already see an army of trolls and noobs uploading all kind of unclean and illegal stuff. only trusted members like canouna, mods, and admins should have upload rights. but anyway thats only theory. You can always try. I would love to see the result.

If anyone has upload rights there must indeed be an ftp admin.
But if you really wan't something BA like, be prepared for buying new harddisks. BA has "Total Current Archive Size: 1916.66GB in 8852 files", and that also includes win1, 2, 3 etc builds. But now builds are much larger so it will grew exponentionally compared to those times.

And why mdl only client? I'd like to use filezilla, which I use for all other ftps too. And if you go the mdl client way, how are you going to do that?
