Perhaps on an old system the fat32 partition had to also be active for legacy boot?

I don't know what you consider old, but if they're ancient, P4 era, just use a dvd:D

Or use a normal updated win 7 iso. The project is specific to use the pro's SiMPLiX gives for officially blocked skylake+ hardware.

Pentium 4 531 on an ASUS P5GZ-MX booted windows 7 from usb drives perfectly fine. But windows 7 didn't have those crappy processor instruction support checks.
Just use a regular windows 7 iso and split your install.wim into .swm files.

I already guessed i have to do the cmd's for normal win 7 installmedia too:(

The tool started as just an automated version of what i always did, using the cmd's manually combined with some simple dism/imagex running GUI's.

I have 24 old p4's here, i will try some of them with the install.esd iso.

Your devotion is admirable! Personally I prefer the ISO format... Maybe I am a young "old"...

All are ISO.... install.esd is not the same as ESD.

I badly expressed me, I refer that I prefer the "Install.wim" by the way, thanks for the remark, and I deeply admire your knowledge!

I apologise for my terrible english

BIOS must be set to Legacy mode.
If using stock windows 7 iso, your install.xxx file should be .wim, not .esd.

Avoid using dots in the file NAME. There should only be one dot in the entire string, and that's the dot before the file extension - .wim.
Also, the install.wim's name should be just that - install.wim. No fancy words in the name like "aio", "Xin1", "ultra hyper mega lite etc".

    thanks for reply
i not change anything, just extract SiMPLiX_AiO_ISO_Tool_v1 files to c:/, put windows 7 iso at C:\SiMPLiX_AiO_ISO_Tool_v1\SOURCE_ISOs\7_x64 and then run SiMPLiX.bat (thanks @Enthousiast ) and that error appear.
tested with UP7Integrator its working fine, problem only with simplix

You don't run SiMPLiX.bat, you have to run one of the desired .cmd's, the cmd calls the bat file.

Hi, i tried this great tool to create an updated iso.
The tool worked without errors but when i try to load the iso to install Windows 7 on a computer I get the "wpeinit" dos prompt window stuck.
If I close that windows the pc reboot, If i wait minutes and minutes nothing happens...
