thanks idmanager. the file is huge. can you provide sha1 of windows 8.1 update3.vhd to check if downloaded the right file.
added you the hash checks, i know they are big downloads, i get carried away with having a very fast connection, took me about 1 hr to upload this
It's perfect for a file server. For archiving purposes, svf patches and compressed sources will take up about half the room.
I have uploaded the file 2 x times. the checksum result is: CRC32: 083BE473 MD5: 5D1D9AAEE64DF1A0FE8F7DB84D28947F SHA-1: 36D560AE957DCB1239FC1501B42F25F1FB229ACC is this correct?
I have download the file 3 x times. I have download with JDownloader, Firefox and Chrome. The checksum is always the same: CRC32: 083BE473 MD5: 5D1D9AAEE64DF1A0FE8F7DB84D28947F SHA-1: 36D560AE957DCB1239FC1501B42F25F1FB229ACC Filename: windows 8.1 update3.vhd Filesize: 26,6 GB (28.664.131.584 Bytes) Is the upload ok? can you check this, please?
I got a completely different one: CRC32: 30C0F49A MD5: 874ec0a3497373523423cc2253159372 SHA1: 6dda047f76c3aa1c19b16bc426259e3a74c7408e Also, when I mount it, I can't access the files due to permissions. Weird... Using Windows 8.1. EDIT: Just read that I need to enable dedup feature. Done, thanks! EDIT2: Just realized that the very act of mounting the VHD can change the hash. Redownloaded and found the same checksums as Alois above.
I upped the mega links then the day after took the sha from the image I had on desktop I have not got the image now but I have all the ISO if you want one I can always up it to mega or another share I have very fast upload speed
Well, I would say, you can just replace the SHA1 listed with the one provided by Alois and me (seems to be the accurate one given that we have verified it independently), and give a disclaimer that accessing the VHD files will potentially change the hash. The contents are actually fine. I have copied out some of the ISOs and they are all checked out with the official MSDN page. Thanks!
