Memory question

    Hi, can someone tell me why pc2 ddr2 so much more money than pc3 ddr3? 2 is older than 3? Plz explain this to me.

    DDR3 modules are selling much more than DDR2, always old RAM modules will more expensive than newer, depending of the release.

    yes, but since ppl that had ddr2 and upgraded to ddr3 and a new board wouldnt they sell ddr2?

    Yes that is a good point however it is a supply and demand issue.

    The one good thing about purchasing used memory is that it rarely goes bad however finding it is usually someone going from let's say from 1gb stick to 2gb stick leaving the less desirable 1gb stick to market. Changing from ddr2 to ddr3 is usually non platform compatible.
