Memory question

    Hi, My D945gtp mobo has I believe 4 slots for RAM, 1 might be bad from putting in 1 stick of RAM in backwards. The mobo has a max total of RAM of 8 GB. The stick of RAM i took out which I think is bad is a NVIDIA SLI ready, PC2 6400, ocz2n800sr2gk 1GB.

    Can someone tell me which 1GB stick of ram that is compatible with it.

    Don't get 2 of them, just get the 2GB kit (which is 2 of them) as it works out cheaper.

    It is the button labelled 2GB KIT (1GBx2) n that amazon link you gave. Yes it will be compatible, it is exactly what MysTikAL3 recommended.

    out of curiosity, how did you managed to get a stick of memory in backwards? Did ya use a hammer or just sit on it until it went in?
