I have a Sony Vaio laptop with full hd resolution. (1920x1080)
Metro app tiles were smaller before but it's bigger now. How can I make them small again?

    After:

PS: Both pictures taken in 1920x1080 resolution.

I know that option, it's not what I am asking for. I've updated pictures to be more clear, can you look at pictures again? o_O

It's a change built into the OS. There will probably be no way to revert it.

On the top in the list you can see 1440 x 900 standard 5 tiles / max. 5 tiles
may half of original? that would be great
Yes, that would be great. :)

I just noticed that if I change Layout_MaximumRowCount's value to lower than 5, it works.

Edit: If I change screen resolution to 1680x1050, it supports 6 rows. But in 1920x1080 resolution, it supports max. 5 rows, interesting. :D

The tweak does not work in RTM so don't waste your time with it.

The reason this happens is because it's scaling "smart" for touch.
"Metro UI" scales depending on your screensize and resolution to always give you easy to hit touch points (even if you don't have a touchscreen to even touch anything :p)

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

Is there any registry patch to make Metro accept 1024 x 600 ??
    It's common in many netbooks.

I've uninstalled Intel's driver from device manager, Windows Update shows no update for intel HD 3000. How am I going to install that?

Maybe it is one that doesnt apply to your unit. I assume you did do a reboot after uninstall. Correct?
