metro off

    Can someone plz tell me how to shutoff metro on win 8.1. All the regedit keys are not located where they say they are plz?

    I have 2 options on my computer, one with health, maps, mail, news, photo, skype...etc and if i use down arrow it give me the apps menu. How can i get rid of the one with the health, maps...etc plz?

    Install windows 3.1 perhaps no realy wat do you mean by getting rid of the apps ? you can right click on them and then choose Uninstall for example :confused:

    Last Metro free OS is called Windows 7
    All future system start with 8 and supersede previous versions of Windows in any way :D

    Right click on taskbar and look for the option to boot directly to desktop.
    There's also a choice to list desktop apps first. This is useful to pin non-metro stuff to start screen, then they'll be shown when you click on start, instead of the metro apps first.
