Shame really MSDN is so expensive in comparison. We have no real way for enthusiasts to get cheap legit copies of Microsoft software now.

Does anybody know what has happened in the past? MS renewed Technet subscriptions until 2013-08-31. A valid subscription of that day got 90 Days extra meaning 30th November 2014. But a lot of subscriptions must have come to its end before that. Have the software stopped working?
no, the software will continue to work, and ALL remaining keys that technet still has, will be given to subscribers.
