    Dear Fellow Forumers,

I recently bought a Samsung 300E7A-S0BFR running Windows 7 Family Edition Premium x64 (French).

I tried to connect my Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 to it.
In the beginning it paired normally and I was able to use it for a couple of hours.
At some stage, the mouse stopped working.
I changed the batteries and tried to reconnect it in vain.
I tried deleting it and then re-pairing with no success.

I searched on the web for solution, but couldn't find any.

The laptop Bluetooth version is 3.0 and the mouse 5000 is 2.0. Is it possible to be the cause?

Is there anybody here who can suggest a solution?

    Thanks in advance.

    Elie

    Hi Miki,

    Thanks for your input.

I had a look there before and found no driver.
On the page of the Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000, one can only download documentation, no drivers.

I guess the driver is somehow embedded in the Windows 7 operating system, but I wonder whether the x64 version has no flaws or resistance for such devices.

    I"ll keep on looking.

    Thanks again.

    All the best,

    Elie
