well that's good. they're listening to their customers
BRAVO Microsoft ! At last they seem to be giving the consumer some consideration
Nice of you M$
I think the 2.5 million limit was a PR plan. What better way to generate excitement than put a limit on something. Then they talk about needing more servers, blah blah blah yada yada yada - part B of the plan. Now anybody who wants the Win 7 beta will end up with it, their original goal - IMO.
The more people that have the beta, the more chances to sell the RTM. I think they learned a lot from the Vista betas/releases and made sure Win 7 was ready to go when it hit the 1st beta - 6801 build was pretty solid.
Ho cares about uncle Bill plans?
The truth is: Windows Seven is a danm good SO...
Bye, Bye Vista... we won't miss you...
agreed. Windows 7 is by far and wide the best OS from MS I have used to date. It takes all the speed of XP, and the usability of Vista along with the other Windows 6 kernel upgrades and combines them into a great OS. Very easy to use with a slight learning curve if you have not used Vista yet. Who knows maybe even ZDNet will get off their apple high horse and write a good review. I want to see Apple's commercials trying to discredit 7...
Credit where credit is due. Well done MS.
there i have said it, i feel dirty now
Windows7 is faster than Vista, and it will kill Linux, I think
