These don't come from Windows Update? I just checked mine and didn't get it offered. Still on "4.18.2104.14-0"

 

they come from windows update in the dev channel.

Is it possible to uninstall old versions of Defender Platform in %ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Platform folder? Or is it better to leave it this way:

I still get the older one offered for x86

 

KB4052623 4.18.2105.4 was just offered for server 2022 and win 10 19043.1023 this evening for me

So is this one going to come from Windows Update? I just did a check (as of 5 minutes ago) and didn't get it offered, I'm still have "4.18.2105.4-0"

How does one know which ones will come from Windows Update, and what ones won't?

 

Afaik, all files included come from WU/MSFT, mainly from the dev channel, which gets them first.

 

when I use the official ISO released from Microsoft in es-ES or es-MX language, in Windows Update they offer two Defender Platform Update, the current one and an old one the 2001 version (January 2020?) this bug is in place since the launch of v.2004 at least
