    No, the exe file will install and update the platform of Microsoft Defender to the latest public version, the script you used will only work with the defender cabs but only for integrating into a offline Windows 10/11 image (install.wim).

    Got offered this today
    Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus antimalware platform - KB5007651 (Version 1.0.2301.7001)
    ... but for the life of me, cannot find anyway to access the download, using my usual methods
    even when i open up the arhive... it just shows garbage, no way to read what build it is... so until I can figure this out, it is goodbye from me... sorry

    Thanks for trying though that is not a new platform update, it's a new Windows Security Platform package. Should get a new beta platform update soon, maybe towards the end of this month.

    I don't know or ever used any
    but the included MICROSOFT.SECHEALTHUI_8WEKYB3D8BBWE.APPX apply for all Win11

    I've had this problem since installing security health update, so for now I added the windows security feature to the taskbar until it's fixed.

    i did a cleaninstall now.. i wouldnt install them again..

    Update - Upgrading to build 25284 fixed the issue.

    MS has released Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus antimalware platform - KB4052623 (Version 4.18.2301.6)
    Available on MS Catalog website and 2nd post of this thread. And will be in Friday's defender cabs.
