    From bleepingcomputer.com:

Microsoft ends support for Office apps on Windows 10 in October

    ------

Even Office LTSC on Windows 10 will stop receiving updates on October. From Office 2024 and Office LTSC 2024 FAQ:

To be fair, I cannot imagine that Microsoft will stop providing Security Updates for Office on Windows 10. There are two highly possible options for Windows 10 users:

    1) The last officially supported version (v2510?) will continue receiving security updates till 10-2028 (like they did with Windows 7 and v2002, which was updated till 2023)
    2) You can still update to versions beyond v2510 but it will be declared as "unsupported"
    3) You can still update to versions beyond v2510 till the end of Extended Consumer Support (10-2026)

    4) Support will end with v2510 (UNLIKELY -> W10 is the most popular Windows version. No Windows version apart from Windows 10 remained at the top a few months before it's EOL, not even Windows 7. They cannot drop it)

Better install office 2024 ltsc to bypass end of life ( bypass )

Eg for windows 7 to bypass office january 2023 end of life install build 1808 aka official 2019 ltsc channel working up to september 2023 ( 9 month of extra update but old look ( because latest build are 2002 news visual style but stuck to january 2023... )

I'm not sure if I understand this thread correctly, but I have a similar question:

    1. I have a regular Windows 10 Pro with Microsoft 365 Apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and I'm thinking of going with Extended Security Updates (ESU) so that I can still use Windows 10 until October 2028. In this case, are you saying that even though Microsoft 365 is officially no longer supported (probably for formality only) after the Windows 10 October 2025 EOL, 365 will still most likely receive security updates for quite some time on a Windows 10 system?
