Well i can import not sync ;P I want to have more or less real time updates between desktop chrome and android... This was the reason i went to chrome in 1st place...
Sync as it fully works in Chromium/Chrome and some other functions are not available yet in these still somewhat early builds, as time passes those features will be added so be patient. You can sync bookmarks to your Microsoft account, that's about it so far. Extensions, themes, etc, all that other stuff just isn't working yet but will be in the future, including some current native Edge features like Reading View, ePub support (hopefully), etc.
I DL v 121using the abbodi1406 Mega link. After I ran it my v 111 was updated to the above, very easy to update.
Let's see if I understood you, you think that by choosing the option "Only on new tabs", that bar should appear in all the open tabs? if so, you're wrong, if you want the favorites bar to appear on all the open tabs you should choose the option "Always", I understand that there may be some confusion, that option should say something like "Only on the NTP" or "Only on the New Tab Page", however I immediately understood what that option was referring to but I understand that it is confusing for others.
that sounds right, if you want it on all tabs you need to select always. I didnt read it tas only on new tabs at first i just assumed it read as only on new tab page. still makes sense though because if you already had those tabs open they wouldnt really be new.
well I am trying to have my NTP with no favorites bar (and other tabs as well if I have them open) BUT any new tabs I open after the fact I would like for the favorites bar to show, is that possible?
With the current configurations of Edge insider it is not possible to do that, there are extensions in the chrome web store that change the NTP, but I have never used them so I do not know if any of them offers the option you want and I do not know if those extensions can modify the NTP of Edge insider.
