Is it possible to change "image of day" to custom image on new tab page? Thanks
AFAIK , No. Not yet. But it is on MS to-do list for October 2019:
Planned to be addressed in the Canary channel in October 2019:
-An option to set your own photos as the background image on the New Tab Page
There is no such thing on my machine and Edge is not installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\ but C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge SxS
I got no idea where you got that from
You need to login to view this posts content.
It's in microsoft\Edge Dev for me so I assume \Edge Canary or whatever version you're on
or enable it in Local State file, then is no needs for this target --enable-features=ExtensionsToolbarMenu and You can use default link.
Aha! Now someone translate this for us that we don't know how to do what you just said.
It is possible to save the User Data directory (to save its profile with the settings, extension, etc ...) but without the history, Cache...?
Or know which file is for the history, etc ... (for Cache, it's the Cache directory)
Nothing cannot understand what you are talking about or what you are looking for, but all cache and history files are here (NB: no cookie files are listed)
History Provider Cache
Thanks so much
I want to save my settings, installed extensions, etc ... for when I reinstall Windows, I do not need to reconfigure everything in Canary
In summary, I save all the User Data directory except
- User Data\Default\Cache
- User Data\Default\Code Cache
- User Data\Default\GPU Cache
- User Data\Default\Service Worker
- Current Session
- Current Tabs
- History Provider Cache
- Login Data
- Login Data-journal
- Top Sites
- Top Sites-journal
Favorites are saved with the HTML file

but what day and date is now?
What link it should be?
Is it Microsoft Edge 126.96.36.199 Stable x64 (64-bit)? If so then there is now already newer version 188.8.131.52
Has anyone updated the stable build?
It gives me an error.
that generally happens when somebody uses the generic offline installers.
