i just found a bug when trying to download flie in edge in hebrew interface edge is crashing every time but when i switch to english inteface no crash.
While i wish this would be an option, so i can use chrome on android and edge on windows, this will never happen, because MS wants to use their services, where they have control over & Google would need to open API to other company and i dont think this is in their interest as well...
However, one option exists. That is, if Google swallows Microsoft. And it's not impossible at all, another thing is the time, when it can happen.
Both are giant corporations, one can't swallow another, competition commission or some such bodies will not allow it ?
One thing is mail and totally other thing is saving use data, potentially like passwords and history on servers you dont control. Imagine you are using Edge and you set saving passwords to Google, then Google account get hacked and they steal your passwords. Most of users would blame MS for it, while it might not be their fault. And cant really draw parallels to mail, before all Gmail and Outlook and other public email providers, every user usually had pop3 account for mail from his ISP/work. And people are used to use "random" clients to access their mail and public mail providers dont change much, however its different with browsers and accessing potentially sensitive data.
Anyone got links to portable Edge 83 that was released today? I used to be able to simply extract the needed contents from MSI releases, but that stopped working.
What kind of portable are you talking about? Never been any portable? What kind of portable links You're looking for? Did Microsoft really released a portable version today?
Anyone also experiencing this bug regarding tab width in Edge Canary, set as default browser, when it opens links from external applications while the browser window is minimised?
