I have same version, and doesn't show download option, but bottom right "three dots" click there an I get download option.
Yes, but when I do that same thing happens, it does not download the file, it opens the link as a stream on my external video player. Happens with mp4 videos, too. I tried with Chromium and it works fine. So I guess I'm switching back to Chromium until a fix is found.
After updating today to version .43 it deleted all the saved passwords and i believe cookies, since none of the "saved" sites remembered their login. (Win8.1)
Version 86.0.622.43 (Official build) (64-bit) i must be lucky so far no problems with passwords or the favorites bar , i did have a problem a few updates back loosing them but i clicked on the import favorites and it worked passwords and favorites were restored .
looks like the chrome changers finally figured out how to get history and open tabs to sync. better late than never I guess
Please be so nice in the future, and if you write/post something, write a little content, not just no-telling headlines. Ie, at this time, what means this "New Favorites", where it is available, ie in which release, what means " it working slowly" and what is this "it" - ie "New Favorites", links, browser or at all Microsoft - what working slowly.

Yes, that's normal, only cared about the app being inactive, not to delete it from disk since that can be problematic and unrecoverable via AppxManifest.xml, needing a repair install of windows. After a logoff / reboot Edge app no longer active - else overriding it's protocol for start menu web search in external browser would not work. Not sure under what OS and build, but I've seen even an automatic cleanup from disk at one time. Anyway, I refined the method in another topic - at a later date I will incorporate the enhancements for this specific edge case as well if it's confirmed to be reliable.
All the Microsoft Edge Chromium versions I have tried seem to have issue with "Read Aloud" on PDF. I tried to use any of them on several occasion to read Advanced Mathematics research books but stop after a paragraph or two. I often listen to Mathematics podcast to sleep. Is anybody having the same issue or solution?
Hi there, Is this the logins (user/passwords) file for edge chromium? C:\Users\**********\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Login Data ? I need to migrate all edge chromium data on a new computer. Bookmarks is C:\Users\**********\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Bookmarks and is working but replacing the Login Data on the new PC with the one above are not add the user/passwords stored on old computer on the new one. Th'x in advance for any tips !
