Finally MS added "Media autoplay" to Site Permission settings ( 79.0.285.0 canary) . Like on Edge, you can choose "Block\Allow\Limit"
Does anyone else have issues with sync? Maybe not sync itself, but my favorites (bookmarks) will not show up on my favorites bar after logging in to either Edge build. (Beta, dev, canary)
I still find sync to be a hit and miss in both Edge chromium and firefox. When will they sync extensions and settings??? If they do, do not see it much. Otherwise, I have been using it Edge chromium as default browser for more than 2 months.
As you know, Microsoft has no extensions for this Edge (if you want to know exactly, they currently have 129 extensions at all) and so nothing can be synchronized. Currently You are using Google Chrome extensions, and you can also update and synchronize them through the Crome website. What's the problem. Go and sync or sync in local mashine over Google account. Can You imagine if you couldn't use the Google website and Chrome extensions, would anyone want to use such a browser at all? Besides, why do you need to download them through Microsoft if they are not owned by Microsoft? Hi, When scrolling for example: facebook, youtube the image looks like the monitor has a 30 Hz refresh rate or the graphics driver has not been installed. Issue occurs in all version dev and canary. It should not be like this. The problem occurs when the laptop is running on battery but power profile is maximum performance. On other browsers, the image scrolls correctly. Well i have never been on Facebook & have never owned a Laptop to test this BUT have you tried Smooth Scrolling on edge://flags/
edge://flags/ In Search Box at top type in Smooth Scrolling Then enable Smooth Scrolling You will find several options in Flags to try
"Enable experimental scrolling" and "Smooth Scrolling" are enabled by default for quite some time in the new Edge (I think since version 77).
Anyone else facing this bug? When Edge shows its OWN pop-up(for example when opening multiple bookmarks and it shows a pop-up message warning you), if you immediately click on Yes(blue button) it doesn't do anything and you have instead to wait some milliseconds to either click it or you can press 'Enter' key instantly. It's such an annoying bug and I've had it since forever on every clean installation and Edge version.
What does "version 78" mean? If it should mean for example Stable or Beta 78.0.276.11, I see without no problems.
