I have Windows 7 x64 and installed Origami Experience 2.0. While NOW works flawlessly (RSS feeds, weather, webcam pictures, notes, etc.), I have issues with the touch web browser UI of CENTRAL — it crashes with an MSHTML.DLL error, code 0x00000005. I tried placing an IE9 (for Windows 7 x86, since Origami is x86) mshtml.dll in the Origami folder, but then I immediately ran into an "ordinal number 309 not found in iertutil.dll" error. Putting the mentioned IE9 DLL in the same folder doesn’t change anything either. The same happens when trying with IE8 files. It does, however, work on Vista SP2 x86 with IE9. I wonder if someone sorted this out already, I however, did not find anything related. Origami Project didn't find many users as we know.
Kinda like Microsoft Bob. Vista includes older IE version's files in its SxS Component Store. Applications explicitly requesting older features will probably get presented with these versions from SxS, avoiding what we called "DLL hell" in XP and below. Windows 7 does not include these old versions anymore as it came with a higher IE version by default.
