Kinda an old news...and it is deeply wrong to call hacker's creation "Microsoft" tool, even though it uses a couple of genuine Microsoft files.
I think the point of "Microsoft" in the name of the tool is to identify that it is designed to give information about Microsoft product IDs, not to say that Microsoft made it.
What i am doing wrong? My Windows 7 Pro x86 German is activated by modded BIOS and OEM product key, but the PIDX checker always shows me "Bad number" when i hit the "Check" button... What i am doing wrong? I run it as Administrator...
All three files (exe, dll and xrm-ms) should be unpacked in one folder. IDK what else might be wrong...
Did you actually enter a product key to check before pressing that button? Considering your blog entry, I guess not. This tool does not check the INSTALLED key, but the one you enter.
Ahhhh, thank you for your help! I will correct it in my blog BTW: My blog is just a collection of important links for me, i hope it is useful for you, too.
