Come on, you can not read every single thread and every single post to find that link

I agree with OP, my intention for the "Blue News" was something like a general heahlines, anything worth discussing is better put into another thread, and the "9385 leak" is, by definition, just disussions on 9385.

Suggestion to OP, why not paste the blog into your posts? MS says more infos will be coming, personally I think it's better than just a simple link. :D

Windows 8.1 is really Windows 8 SP1, it's just better marketing to portray it as a new OS. That said, it is slightly more than just a service pack as some changes are no doubt included that would have otherwise gone into a 'Windows 9' release next year or the year after.

A Windows 8.1 thread would be good to start once Windows 8.1 is released, but before then a consumer preview thread would be good once that becomes available. At least that way discussion is properly categorised, no point someone coming to look at the Windows 8.1 thread only to navigate through hundreds of pages relating to deprecated Windows 8.1 beta and consumer preview releases to get to the relevant stuff :)

Hopefully it will be a service pack and all the changes can be downloaded as hotfixes as well.

HOPEFULLY a thread will open about 8.1 with definite fact rather than bulls**t speculation.

Nice little updated, but none of the nuisances about Windows 8 is fixed. Just a little icon changes and useless tweaks, not even worth of being called a 8.1

remember the preview of w8 last year? RTM finally brought some changes again superseding the preview. So nobody can say how RTM 8.1 will look like. Perhaps they again do some fine tuning until August

The only thing I really like about Windows 8.1 so far is the Start Screen. I really hope what Paul said was true and they will add some features. Well, I seriously want a notification center since I have tons of notifications and I do not have time to view each one.
