Microsoft update

    thy always show the updates even if you have not installed them, just go-ahead and install them - they will not install as no packagewill be found anyway. its ok

    You should of just pressed hide updates, then you would not see in future, and they would not install.

    no its normal, always have been the same even with 2007. They will show installed as they are part of the office 2010 suit, if you installed word, excel and other from individual packs then the highlighted update would not show up. No big deal nothing toworry about

    Indeed it is normal. When you now choose to install an additional product, it will instantly be up-to-date with the latest patches. Only way to avoid this is to install the separate packages of office 2010 (as stated above). They can be found on wzor site.

    Is it cleaner to install seperate packages?

    And will I be able to activate them with CODYQX4’s toolkit

    I don't think it's a big difference to install the seperate packages.
    They can also be activated by CODYQX4's toolkit.
