    @windsman.
    That's already been known to happen on kabylake/ryzen systems, there are also some workarounds like using simplix update pack or the manual patches.

    The article is from march 17. 2017 ;)

    About the OP, seems very unlikely that msft will do that.

    My article is from today but since today is a "joke" day in Spain I don't know if that's true or not.

    I'm not talking about the newer hardware block. The article says that starting January 1st, Microsoft will block Windows 7 PCs for force the upgrade to Windows 10.
