I have connected my Ivy Bridge Intel 4000 onboard graphics PC with Win8 to my TV and discovered that there is no 720 resolution offered, there is a 1280x768 but no 1280x720 can be selected.

    Why is it missing?

Or your tv is actually 768 pixels high and not 720.

Its a Panasonic VT20. Just switched back to Win7 and here I do have 1280x720.

Weird. I think I will just stay with Win7.

By M$ design W8 does not support 1024 x 600 resolution for netbooks either, because M$ decided that it won't pay off enough.

Yes I do know 192x1080p works but I just prefer 720p for streaming NFL Gamepass. I think it looks better in lower res.

Wat? I understand that some TV upscale video better than putting 1080p and rescale te video with a media player, but does that nfl thing don't support 1080p?
