    You can't just locate mobile numbers. Authorities can, but there is a special paperwork necessary, depending on the jurisdiction in your country.

    dude... that like cia stuff... that kind of stuff is not available to public.. the best thing you can do if you can get ahold of the phone is bug it so you can trace and monitor the cellphone usage..

    Mobile locater is useful for tracing out from where a user got a missed call. It traces the information about any mobile number code like Service Provider, State, or Reference City. Remember that it can tell from where not who (person).

    hey dude mobile number locater is the device to trace out the mobile that where it is? and it is mostly provided by the mobile enquiries

    There is something called "Location Based Services" which is supposed to alert people with text messages when they are in a certain location such as near museums, restaurants etc.
    The technology for Locating Mobile Phones exists but has a Whitelist/Opt in policy and the take up on this technology has been slow, mainly due to the Privacy issues involved.
