Hi everyone! My task description: there is Inspiron 1525 with empty uwb and wwan slots. I've purchased minipcie sata controller based on as1061. This controller works good on desktop, but when I insert it into laptop - it stucks on POST without any error messages (although maybe it stucks on controller's bios - I'm not sure yet). Laptop bios ver a17. I think there is some issue with laptop bios trying to launch controller, and I would like to investigate it - first of all where and why it stucks - but still can't find description for module types. Does anybody have a link to Phoenix Dell bios module types list for a17 (or maybe to related topics)? And maybe anybody faced/resolved similar issues earlier?
Decompressed my current bios a17 with phoenixtool - got a lot of rom files. Most of them have name format like xx_dd.rom, where xx is in hex format, dd - in decimal. I guess xx is number by order and dd - module type, but I'm not sure. Going to look through all of them...
